The Terrain

Panorama Mountain Village rises 4,000 vertical feet above true slope-side lodging and giant hot pools, but it’s not until you reach the summit that the real scale of the terrain becomes apparent. All around, as far as the eye can see, are snow smothered peaks including the world-famous Canadian Rockies. Below, are trails for skiers and riders of all abilities. You can carve up Canada’s longest uninterrupted fall-line groomers, take on the ‘backcountry style’ lines of Taynton Bowl, or fly down the Showoff Terrain Park.  Just pick a line…

Expert skiers and riders will enjoy the backcountry style skiing in Taynton Bowl, which offers over 1,000 acres of wide open and naturally gladed chutes, ridges, and valleys. “Until 2001, Taynton Bowl was exclusive territory for rk heliski, and a skier had to shell out a cool grand for the bowl’s 1855 vertical feet of glades, chutes, and gullies.  Now for a mere lift ticket and three quad rides, the wind-loaded basin is yours” Evelyn Spence – Skiing Magazine.

Apres
The ski day is over, but your night has just begun. From apres at the T-Bar & Grill or Jackpine Pub to an intimate dinner with friends at the Wildfire Grill, Panorama Mountain Village has something for everyone. The Village awaits....
