Nestled between the two mountains is the charming village of Whistler, alive with festive entertainment, intriguing shops and cozy bistros. Welcome Night - Fire & Ice Show
7:30pm every Sunday at the base of the Village gondolas, hosted by Whistler Blackcomb Ski & Snowboard School hold a Welcome Night, giving you the inside information on all this resort has to offer.
Watch skiers and boarders ride the jumps and rotate through a ring of fire! Fantastic free entertaiment for families, or watch from the Longhorns Pation whilst enjoying a drink under the heaters.

 

NEW PEAK TO PEAK GONDOLA!

The new Peak-to-Peak opened in December 2008. Twenty-eight sky cabins travel 4.4 kms between

Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains, offering unprecedented access to both mountains' expansive and

unique high alpine terrain and spectacular views.

A free in-resort shuttle bus takes you anywhere within the village area, with over 200 shops throught Whistler Village and Whistler creekside you are spoilt for choice. Dinning and Apres is a high part of the Whistler experience with more than 90 restuarants to chose from. If you want to go sightseeing around the valley, you can use Whistler's public transit system or take a guided cab ride.

Beyond the Mountains - Non Ski Activities

Go beyond the mountains and be active. This is Whistler after all. Snowshoeing,

heli-skiing, snowmobiling, ziptreking and cross-country skiing are all easily accessible in Whistler. Guided tours can take the whole family out for an exciting day of excursions into the backcountry. You can even go dog sledding, on a horse-drawn sleigh ride, ice climbing, glacier trekking, bungee jumping and flightseeing.  The sky’s the limit.

Après ski and nightlife

Your fun doesn’t end after a day out on the slopes. The après ski experience is a Whistler tradition where outdoor patios buzz with excitement amid a mix of music, drinks and friends sharing tales, tall and otherwise, from the day.

When the sun goes down Whistler’s nightlife scene comes alive. Nightclubs with DJs and dancing always draw a party crowd. Getting There
Closest International Airport: Vancouver (a scenic 2.5 hrs drive). Frequent shuttles from Vancouver Airport to Whistler/Blackcomb from $64 one way per adult. Alamo rental cars are available from Vancouver Airport and Hertz is available from Vancouver Airport and Whistler.
