Mt Hutt is nestled inside the Southern Alps overlooking a spectacular vista of the Canterbury Plains and in the distance, the Pacific Ocean.
Located just a 40-minute drive from Methven Township, Canterbury's Mt Hutt Ski Area receives some of the lightest & driest powder in Australasian. it typically enjoys one of the longest ski seasons in the Southern Hemisphere from early June to late October. Trails, terrain parks& half-pipe are accessed by a six seater express chairlift, an express quad chair, a triple chair & a 140m long surface conveyor lift; last year introducing brand new groomers and improved snowmaking, making for some of the best facilities in the country. Renowned for it's laid back atmosphere, Mt Hutt is family & beginner friendly. With more than 365 hectares to ski, Mt Hutt is a vast mountain with a diverse mix of terrain- all levels of skier & rider can have an awesome, winter experience here!

Kea Club: Ski and snow board programme is specifically designed for kids with the aim of encouraging maximum participation and fun. in small groups of similar ability our trained staff will focus on safety, fun and learning for all levels. it's an excellent way for your children to make new friends and have a great day on the hill. Ski programme for children 6-15yrs & snow board 8-15yrs. There are full day and half day options available, please enquire for full details.
