Turoa's wide open spaces, long runs & natural half-pipes are the perfect playground for the skier or boarder who loves smooth, high-speed carving & making the most of natural freestyle terrain. It's home to an impressive 1.4km 6-seat express chairlift with the biggest uphill capacity in Australasian& 4km ski run. If you're looking for serious snow mileage out of your holiday this is the place to be! There are two lift-accessed off-piste areas offering breathtaking scenery& challenging terrain to the advanced rider. Beginners are well catered for at Turoa with the newly extended carpet lift at the self-contained Alpine Meadow beginners area. Budding skiers & boarders are spoilt for choice on the numerous mid-mountain intermediate runs.
