Harris Mountains Heliski

Shotover Jet

Safari of the Scenes

Ski Express comments: It is possible to experience the magical atmosphere captured in the film. Safari of the Scenes is either a half or full day 4WD experience into the heart of New Zealand’s high country visiting specific sights where filming took place. All tours provide hotel pick up.

Dart River Safari

Ski Express comments: An action packed half day safari offering jetboating, walking & a  4WD adventure.
The Dart River Half Day Safari combines a 1.5 hour jet boat ride amidst the spectacular scenery of the Southern Alps. A gentle walk in ancient forests and a back road journey through the high country farmland and forest around Paradise – a film location for Lord of the Rings.
