FREE night skiing - with your ski pass from mid Dec to early April between 4pm - 9pm.
Off the slopes, enjoy mountain-top ice skating, snowtubing, shopping and restaurants all overlooking Lake Tahoe. On the lower mountain, activities include an indoor climbing wall, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, sleigh rides, dog sled tours and the Resort at Squaw Creek's relaxing health and fitness spa.
Sqauw Kids Children's Center
Squaw Valley's Squaw Kids' Children's Center dedicates all 12,000 square feet of space to our guests between the ages of 3 and 12. Located at the base of the mountain, the Children's Center is adjacent to six lifts, our state-of-the-art Funitel, and our 110 passenger aerial Cable Car. Squaw Kids provides several full day and half day programs tailored to the age and ability of each child. Squaw Kids is a ONE-STOP center for families, where all of the children's needs are taken care of (rentals, lift tickets and lessons).
Non Ski Activites
There are a variety of activites available off the slopes including snow tubing and dog sledding. Other acitivites include:
- Sky Jump
Hook the bungees to your harness – start jumping on the trampolines – and soon you’re bouncing 25’ in the air while performing somersaults and flips! The Skyjump is a great activity for anyone between 20 and 220 lbs. All ages are welcome. The friendly staff gives tips and pointers to anyone wanting to learn how to do a front or back somersault. Notice the smiles and looks of increasing self-confidence after the first somersault, especially in children!
- Headwall Climbing Wall
The Squaw Valley Adventure Center serves up fun and challenges for guests of all ages. Our 30' indoor wall and the 45' outdoor wall (summer only) offer exciting fun for all ages. 25 different routes will test any climber from beginner to expert.Indoor Rock Climbing at Squaw Valley USA is a fun, athletic activity for all ages.
