Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado

When Aussies think, "Ski USA", we

quite often think Aspen - one of Americas largest and most popular ski resorts.

Don’t be overawed by its glitzy perceptions however, Aspen/Snowmass offers value for money lodges through to luxurious condominiums. Choose to stay in Aspen Village or Snowmass Village, just 19km from each other. Aspen is an old mining town dating back to 1878. Its old facades have been turned into amazing hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. It has a truly cosmopolitan ambience.

In contrast, Snowmass is a beautiful alpine village tucked into a lovely valley away from the world, but still only 20mins drive from Aspen. Most of the accommodation offers ski-in/ski-out and the village has a unique family feel.

ASPEN/SNOWMASS IS GREAT FOR FAMILIES

In 2007-2008, Aspen Skiing Company unveiled The Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center at Snowmass base village.

As the focal point for kids' programming at Aspen/Snowmass, The Treehouse stands as the first of its kind in the snowsports industry, boasting teen activities, kids' retail and a host of themed rooms for ages eight weeks and older.

The Treehouse is easily accessible from anywhere in Snowmass with short-term and underground parking, free shuttle buses, ski-in/ski-out access on Fanny Hill and service to the upper slopes, lodges and Snowmass Village Mall via the Sky Cab gondola. In addition, Ski & Snowboard Schools check-in, rental, retail and family après entertainment are consolidated all under one roof.

Ski & Snowboard School
Aspen/Snowmass offers a range of packages for skiers and snowboarders, depending upon age, desired experience and ability. The following is just a sample. For group or general ski lessons, we recommend that you book and discuss your needs at the mountain.
